Alan Bonner, from County Meath in Ireland, has died during the qualifying session for the Senior TT, in an incident at the 33rd Milestone. The 33-year-old made his Isle of Man TT debut in 2014, and quickly found pace on the Mountain Course. As such the next year, he had his highest finish ever, with an impressive 15th place in the 2015 Senior TT. He finished 28th in this year’s Superbike TT, winning a bronze replica, and he also finished 30th in today’s Superstock TT race, again winning another bronze replica. Bonner holds the distinction of being the fastest TT rider ever from the Republic of Ireland, posting a 127.090 mph lap in 2015. Our deepest condolences go out to Alan Bonner’s family, friends, and his partner Gemma.
